- Hello... my name's LJ Rich and I'm a TV Presenter, Technology Journalist and Music Consultant based in the UK, and I manage to make my living doing all of these things. I play the piano and have Perfect Pitch, which means I can tell you what key you speak in and the chords to anything. Although I have presented pre-recorded programmes and know my way around an autocue, I do a lot of live TV - which is nerve-wracking and fun all at the same time. Normally this involves looking very relaxed while people shout in your earpiece – although it sometimes involves looking very relaxed while the whole world falls down around you. I have a regular column online as a digital agony aunt on Virgin Media's website here: www.virginmedia.com/asklj When I’m not on the telly, I like to compose - anything from classical ambient orchestral stuff to crazy, heavy chunky beats – I’ve worked out that what I compose depends almost entirely on mood and caffeine consumption, as well as what I’ve been commissioned for.
